摘要
艺术学是西方主导现代性艺术理论话语的结果,在中国,对这一国际学术潮流最早做出回应的是宗白华。和五四时期文学在新文化运动所呈现的与民族传统主动断裂的姿态不同,中国学者对艺术的定义以及艺术学的设想中非常明确要"处处表现民族性";20世纪90年代,中国学者在提出"艺术学"学科建设设想的同时,已经将"民族艺术学"的构想提上日程;2015年,建立"民族艺术学"的呼声正式在国际会议上发出。对"民族性"的重视是中国艺术学学科建制的传统与主动选择。民族艺术学可以从广义和狭义两个层次被阐释,并与一般艺术学形成个性与共性的关系。民族艺术学跨学科的研究方法可以为当代中国艺术学的建设提供新的学术增长点,具体表现在对民族民间艺术的重视可以促成艺术与美学研究回归生活的导向,矫正以往艺术史多以视觉艺术为中心的倾向,还可以为美学提供新的研究范畴。民族艺术为保存世界文化多样性提供重要保障,最终在各个民族文化融会贯通的基础上,为构建中华民族共同体和人类命运共同体提供艺术支持与文化动力。
Art studies is the outcome of the theoretical discourse of modern art theory studies directed by the West. In China, Zong Baihua was the first person who responded to this international academic trend. Different from the attitude which broke from the national tradition during the New Culture Movement of the May Forth Period, Chinese scholars deliberately want to express “nationality everywhere” in the definition and conception of art and art studies. In the 1990 s, when Chinese scholars proposed the disciplinary construction of “art studies”, they also put the conception of “ethnonational art studies” on the agenda. In 2015, the voice for the establishment of “ethnonational art studies” was proposed in international conferences. The emphasis on “nationality” is both the tradition and active choice of the construction of Chinese subject of art studies.Ethnonational art studies can be interpreted from narrow and broad levels and it has a relationship with general art studies of individuality and commonality. The inter-disciplinary methodology of ethnonational art studies is a new academic growing point for contemporary Chinese art studies because of these following benefits: the emphasis on national and folk art can direct aesthetic studies back to life so as to current the tendency that history of art usually is centered on visual art. Furthermore, it can provide new research issues for aesthetics.Ethnonational art, when providing the world cultural diversity with significant safeguard, provide the artistic support and cultural driving force for the construction of Chinese national community and human community with shared destiny, based on the integrated national cultures.
