Stele inscriptions are artifacts with prominent Chinese characteristics. As a medium of writing and recording, inscriptions not only carry the core concept of Chinese culture—the civilization of rite and music, but alsoa significant symbol of“Ritual Hidden in Utensils”.Taking the Chinese Han Dynasty Inscriptions in Qufu as an example, this paper tries to explore the concept of Han dynasty inscriptions as a ritual artifact from the perspective of the ritual creation—“Ritual Hidden in Utensils”.In this paper, the combination of literature and material objects is used to reveal Confucius s conceptions on the benevolent rule, filial piety, loyalty contained in Han dynasty inscriptions on the public space,a symbol of Confucianism as ritual vessels,so as to reflect the pursuit of life values, ethical concepts, life intelligence and aesthetic ideals in Confucianism.
