Chitosan is a non-toxic,natural compound,a derivative of chitin,which can react with proteoglycans and mucopolysaccharides in solution.Chitosan has unique characteristics,such as antibacterial,adsorption,and biocompatibility.Therefore,its application value in the medical field is very high.In recent years,drugs using chitosan as a carrier have shown good performance in terms of stability and efficacy.In the future,with the deepening of research,its application range will be wider,and it will also become an important dressing in pharmaceutical preparations.In this paper,the application of Chitosan was analyzed in detail,mainly from medical materials and pharmaceutical preparations,as well as biotechnology applications.
