齐鲁大地素有“蟋蟀王国”之雅称,德州市宁津县则是镶嵌在蟋蟀王国桂冠上的一颗璀璨明珠。宁津县具有适宜蟋蟀生长繁衍的得天独厚的气候、水质、土壤等条件,这里的蟋蟀兼具南北虫的特点于一身,既有南方蟋蟀个大、头大、顶大、腿大、皮色好的优点,又有北方干旱区虫凶悍的斗性与持久的耐力。行内至今流传着“自古名蟋蟀出宁津”的俗语,宁津县也因此享有“中华蟋蟀第一县”的美誉。

Ningjin County has unique climate,water quality,soil and other conditions suitable for the growth and reproduction of crickets.The crickets here have the characteristics of both the north and the south.They not only have the advantages of big southern crickets,big head,big top,big legs and good skin color,but also the tenacious,fierce fighting and lasting endurance of the northern arid region.In 2010,the Ningjin County Government invested RMB 3 million to build the Cricket Cultural Museum,highlighting the three functions of collection,research and display,integrating cricket playing,cricket fighting.
