日薄虞渊:“北洋军阀史”研究之两面观

The Duality View on the Study of“History of Beiyang Warlords”

经过近百年的学术积累,“北洋军阀史”研究已取得一定成绩。但因认识惯性作用,既有研究存在明显的价值判断色彩,更多凸显北洋时期的乱象,对政制转型过程中带有试验性质的不同政制选择及多方面的建设性成就缺乏关照。即便对北洋时期存在的问题,既有研究也未必切中要害。本文借用“日薄虞渊”成语,依据辩证唯物主义对立统一法则,在回顾相关学术史的基础上,强调历史研究中的两面观,希望引起学者对北洋历史被忽略一面的重视。

After nearly a hundred years of academic accumulation,certain achievements have been made in the study of the“History of Beiyang Warlords”.However,due to cognitive inertia,the existed studies have obvious value judgment tendency,which emphasize the chaos in the Beiyang period,but lack due attention to the experimental different political systems choice and various constructive achievements in the process of political transformation.Even for the problems that existed in the Beiyang period,the previous studies might not hit the nail on the head.Based on the unity of opposites law of dialectical materialist,this paper borrows the idiom“Ribo Yuyuan(日薄虞渊)”,emphasizes the duality view in historical research,and hopes to draw scholars'attention to the neglected aspect of the Beiyang history.
