An Analysis of the Narrative Universality ofHogan’s Mind and Its Story froma Cognitive Perspective

艺术和文化是人类区别于动物的主要特征,认知视野是指人类在信息、知识及经验的获得和记忆、达到顿悟、使观念和概念相互联系以及问题解决中的客观视野。基于认知理论,作者从文学的普遍性、叙事作品的定位和叙事原型的选取三个方面探究霍根《心灵及其故事》中传达的叙事思想,探究霍根叙事普遍性思想在浪漫、英雄和献祭的悲喜剧中的具体渗透,分析霍根《心灵及其故事》的叙事普遍性在悲剧、抒情诗和宗教著作中的延伸。

Art and culture are the main characteristics that distinguish human beings fromanimals.Cognitive vision refers to the objective vision of human beings in the acquisition and memory of information,knowledge and experience,the realization of epiphany,the inter-connection of ideas and concepts,and problemsolving.Based on cognitive theory,this paper probes into the narrative thoughts conveyed in Hogan's Mind and Its Story from three aspects:the universality of literature,the orientation of narrative works and the selection of narrative archetype.This paper probes into the concrete infiltration of Hogan’s narrative universality in the tragicomedy of romance,hero and sacrifice,and analyzes the extension of the narrative universality of Hogan’s Mind and Its stories in tragedies,lyric poems and religious works.
