论史浩对《尚书·泰誓》之“泰”的解释

Shi Hao’s Interpretation of “Tai” in Book of Documents: Tai Shi

南宋史浩撰写《尚书讲义》一书,注疏及讲解《尚书》中每一篇的篇名、书序和内容。其解析《泰誓》篇名不但从《尚书》誓体文篇名命名的规律进行推求,而且结合书中各篇章及其序言的内容,吸收、借鉴前代及同时代的经、史文献以及诸家学者的解说,认为《泰誓》由姜太公所作,伐纣之谋源于太公,太公在讨伐商纣王一事上居首功,从而提出了"泰誓"之"泰"意指"太公"之"太"的观点。该阐释虽具有一定的局限性,但却从另一个视角折射了宋代理学家的解经特色和风貌,以及姜太公的形象、地位与作用。

In the Southern Song Dynasty, Shi Hao wrote the book of Shangshu Jiangyi, annotating and explaining the title, preface and content of each article in the book. In analyzing the title of Taishi, Shi Hao not only deduced from the regularity of the title naming of the oath style text in Book of Documents, but also combined with the contents of each chapter in the book and its preface, absorbed and learned from the Confucian classics and historical documents of previous and contemporary dynasties and the explanations of various scholars. Shi Hao thought that Jiang Tai gong wrote the “TaiShi”, the plan of defeating King Zhou of Shang Dynasty originated from Tai Gong, who took the lead in the crusade against King Zhou, so he put forward the view that “Tai” of “TaiShi” means “Tai” of “Tai Gong”. Although the interpretation has certain limitations, it reflects the characteristics and style of the Neo-confucianists’ interpretation of the classics from a subtle aspect in the Song Dynasty, and depicts the figure image of Jiang Taigong and his status and function in the eyes of the Song Confucianism.
