Cytokine storm syndrome(CSS)is a syndrome that can be caused by a variety of reasons.It is characterized by serious abnormal immune response of the body,continuous activation and proliferation of various immune cells,secretion of a large number of cytokines,leading to multiple organ dysfunction,with a high mortality rate.It is known that CSS is involved in the pathogenesis of some gastroenterological diseases.So,understanding CSS is helpful to diagnose and deal with some gastroenterological diseases.
