摘要
针对C波段80 W空间行波管进行了优化设计。利用微波管模拟器套装(MTSS)模拟高频慢波结构、注波互作用,运用CST软件模拟了磁系统和输能耦合系统,在输能结构的设计中考虑了微放电效应,设计窗的功率阈值远远大于欧空局8 dB设计要求,降低了管子工作时因微放电而造成损坏的风险。通过MTSS着重优化了高频方案,最终制管完成测试,获得了输出功率大于80 W,效率大于65%,相移小于45°,AM/PM转换系数小于3.5°/dB。
This paper describes the design and optimization of an80 W C-band space TWT. The slow wave structure and beam-wave reaction of the TWT are simulated using MTSS code, and the magnetic system and coupler output energy system are simulated using CST code. Multipactor dischargeeffect is considered in the design of output coupler structure, the power threshold of the window is set much higher than the 8 dB requirement of European Cooperation for Space Standardization(ECSS), therefore avoiding the risk resulted from multipactor discharge. The high frequency design is optimized emphatically byusing MTSS code.The test results show that the developed TWT has output powermore than 80 W, efficiency more than 65%, phase shift less than 45°, and AM/PM factor less than 3.5°/dB.
