Marxist view of the times is the basic idea and viewpoint of Marxist classical writers to make an overall answer to the problems,themes and characteristics of the times.It is an important part of Marxism.The scientific proposition that“socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era”put forward by the 19 th CPC National Congress and the important exposition of“two overall situations”put forward by the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee are the scientific judgments of contemporary Chinese Marxism about the times based on the comprehensive judgment of today’s China and the world and the latest expressions of Marxist outlook on the times in the 21 st century.Adhering to the triple logic of Marxist view of the times,namely,the development logic based on grasping the law of social basic contradictions,the practical logic guided by solving practical fundamental problems,and the thinking logic of using philosophical methods to explore the essence of the times,the new view of the times fully demonstrates that Marxist view of the times has the theoretical character of coming down in one continuous line and keeping pace with the times.Contemporary Chinese Marxist outlook on the times is the latest theoretical form of the development of Marxist outlook on the times.
