The Internal Mechanism and Practical Aim of Anti-spiritual Poverty&Common Prosperity for All in the New Era

习近平总书记关于反精神贫困的重要论述,是中国特色反贫困理论的重要组成部分,是马克思主义反贫困理论中国化的新飞跃,其时代价值主要体现在持“制”强基、扶“智”树人、扶“志”铸魂、扶“帮”聚力等方面。进入新时代,反精神贫困与实现共同富裕更加具有内在逻辑一致性。在历史性地解决了绝对贫困问题之后,要巩固拓展脱贫攻坚成果,必须高度重视精神贫困造成返贫的风险,加强党的领导、推进组织振兴,加大教育投入、推进人才振兴,繁荣农村文化、提高文明程度,加强精神激励、提升发展动力,整合各类服务资源、完善农村社会化服务,推进脱贫地区实现物质生活和精神生活共同富裕取得更为明显的进展。

General Secretary Xi Jinping’s statement on anti-spiritual poverty is an important part of anti-poverty theory with Chinese characteristics and represents a new breakthrough in adapting Marxist anti-poverty theory to the Chinese context.It’s contemporary value centers on the support to the systems,cultivating people with wisdom,setting up appropriate ambition and forming synergy in backward regions.Entering a new era,anti-spiritual poverty has the same internal logic as realizing common prosperity for all.Efforts should be made to consolidate and expand achievements in poverty elimination,as well as attentions paid to the risk of falling back into poverty due to spiritual poverty after we have eliminated the absolute poverty in a historical scale.In order to accomplish that we put forward such suggestions as strengthening the Party’s leadership so as to promote organization vitalization,increasing investment on education so as to promote qualified personnel vitalization,rendering rural culture prosperity so as to improve civilization degree,strengthening spiritual motivation so as to enhance development momentum,and integrating different service resources so as to improve rural social services so that we can make more notable and substantive progress in promoting common prosperity of material life and spiritual life for everyone in poverty-eliminated areas.
