大学英语拓展课程《医学人文英语教育》建设思路

摘要 结合新医科人才的培养目标,思考新文科背景下的大学英语拓展课程《医学人文英语教育》的建设。课程以英语作为教学语言,凸显语言课程的特色,选择与医学相关领域,如医学史、医学伦理、医学文化等相关的文献,引导学习者开展医学人文知识的学习。充分利用多种模态的教材(含网络资源下的音频、视频、医学人文著作等),重点关注医学相关主题,如医患关系、临终关怀、死亡教育等,通过文献阅读、医学热点及引发医学社会问题的思考,开展的跨学科教学尝试。《医学人文英语教育》课程充分体现英语课程的工具性与人文性目标,将单一的语言教学转换为医学科技与人文的交叉融合。 Given the cultivating objectives of New Medical Science talents,this paper explores College English curriculum development of Medical Humanities Education in English under the background of New liberal Arts.This course aims to guide learners to acquire medical humanistic knowledge in English through doing readings revolving around medical history,medical ethics and medical culture with English as teaching and learning language.Making full use of multimodalities teaching materials(including online audio,video and medical humanities works),focusing on medical themes,such as doctor-patient relationship,hospice care and death education,the study is to conduct interdisciplinary teaching reform through literature reading and reflections on medical hot topics and relevant medical social issues.Medical Humanities Education in English fully embodies the instrumental and humanistic objectives of the English curriculum,which helps to transform the singular language teaching into cross-disciplinary integration of medical science and technology and humanities.
