论新时代“大先生”的内涵及其培育路径

Connotations of"Great Masters"in the New Era and an Exploration on the Cultivation Pathways

“先生”是人们对老师或知识分子的一种称呼,作为老师能称之为“大先生”者如鲁迅、陶行知、梁启超、蔡元培等皆德高望重。新时代“大先生”的提出起于习近平总书记在全国高校思想政治工作会议上的重要讲话。新时代“大先生”是党和人民的需要,是新时代中国特色社会主义教育发展的需要,是改革教育教学不良现状的需要。培育新时代“大先生”需要内修外培,内要“树学研育”,外要各级部门戮力同心,包括出策、搭台、定制、研标、树榜、宣传等多元路径。

In Chinese language,Xiansheng(master)is one way to address teachers and intellectuals.Those who can be called Great Masters are all prestigious Chinese educators like Lu Xun,Tao Xingzhi,Liang Qichao,Cai Yuanpei and so forth."Great Masters"in the new era was put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping in an important speech at the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Universities.Great Masters in the new era meet the needs of the Party and the people,the development of socialist education with Chinese characteristics and the current education reforms.To cultivate Great Masters in the new era,teachers must get themselves involved in continuous learning and researches.Meanwhile,concerted efforts must be made nationwide,provincewide,citywide and schoolwide in order to join hands,develop policies,create platforms,custom-build research standards,set examples and publicize effective practices.
