The Characteristics of Aesthetic Education Thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism and Its Value in College Students'Ideological and Political Education

先秦儒家美育思想蕴含着丰富的大学生思想政治教育资源。在美育目的上,强调以美化人,以“成人、成己”为导向,注重培养自尊、自强、自立的人格;在美育功能上,注重以美育人,通过诗、乐等文学艺术的愉心愉志、潜移默化之功能,促进道德修养;在美育原则上,强调以善引美,注重内在修养与外在形态相得益彰的君子人格美;在美育手段上,强调以美引德,把诗、乐等艺术教育作为人性涵养和道德引领的重要手段。在新的社会形势下,这对加强和改进大学生思想政治教育建设,培育浓厚的人文关怀、高尚的精神追求、健康向上的生活态度以及积极进取的责任意识等方面具有重要的思想政治教育价值。

The aesthetic education of pre-Qin Confucianism contains abundant resources of ideological and political education for college students.As for the purpose of aesthetic education,emphasis is placed on educating people with beauty,taking“self accomplishment”as the guidance,and paying attention to the cultivation of self-esteem,self-improvement and self-supporting man personality.In terms of the function of aesthetic education,attention should be paid to educating people with aesthetic education,and promoting moral cultivation through the imperceptible influence of poetry,music and other literature and art.On the principle of aesthetic education,it emphasizes on leading beauty with kindness,and lays stress on the beauty of gentleman's personality,which makes the internal cultivation and external form complement each other perfectly.In terms of the means of aesthetic education,it emphasizes“aesthetic virtue”which takes poetry,music and other art education as an important means to cultivate human nature and guide morality.In the new social situation,it is of great value in strengthening and improving the construction of ideological and political education for college students,helping them cultivate strong humanistic care,noble spiritual pursuit,optimistic attitude towards life and positive sense of responsibility.
