With the development of urban rainwater and sewage diversion reform,mixed urban drainage system has become the mainstream.Sewage overflow in mixed urban drainage system is one of the important pollution sources of urban receiving water.In order to effectively control the frequency and quantity of sewage overflow in mixed urban drainage system,and reduce the pollution of urban receiving water body to the greatest extent,the causes of sewage overflow in mixed urban drainage system are analyzed from the aspects of theory,drainage engineering construction and daily maintenance and management of urban drainage system.Various countermeasures to control sewage overflow in mixed urban drainage system are given.
