The open science in the digital age has been widely concerned by governments,policy makers and scientists,Digitalization is changing the basic logic and mode of scientific research and innovation.Starting from the origin of open science,this paper explains the theoretical connotation and basic logic of open science in the digital age,and reveals it’s social welfare,mainly including improving the productivity of science,providing digital collaboration platform,promoting the development of citizen science,establishing new ecosystem and partnership.The research conclusion has great significance for the improvement of scientific and technological innovation ability in the digital economy era.
