At present,there are some problems in personality education in higher vocational colleges,such as inaccurate positioning,poor content and single form of personality education,which leads to the low effectiveness of personality education in higher vocational colleges. Cai Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought contains the value of personality education,such as adhering to the concept of people-oriented,developing the aesthetic education theory of beauty and goodness,and innovating the practice path of aesthetic education,which has important reference significance for the improvement of personality education in higher vocational colleges.
