Problematizing the "Xiaoxihu Practice"

南京小西湖街区保护与改造的探索不仅推动着现实层面制度与机制等的更新,而且也是一次在知性层面的发问。从经验性的观察出发,试图从城市理念、工具手段和职业身份等几个方面,探讨小西湖实践以人地(产权)关系为基础的知识构建,及其对认知框架、术语系统和技术方法等方面提出的知识问题与理论问题。

The preservation and renovation of Xiaoxihu Block in Nanjing not only pushes forward renovation of related institutions and mechanism in reality,but also problematizes itself at intellectual level.Through empirical observation,this paper attempts to discuss the knowledge formation based upon the relationship between people and land(property) in the Xiaoxihu practice from the viewpoints of the idea about a city,the tool and method,and the professional status of a rchitects,as well as the knowledge and theoretical questions to cognitive framework,terminologies and techniques raised by the practice.
