Objective:To study the concentration of serum vitamin A and E in pregnant women and their correlation with premature rupture of membranes,so as to provide targeted health care guidance. Methods:the serum vitamin A and E concentrations of 195 pregnant women were detected by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The serum vitamin A and E levels of pregnant women in different age groups and the relationship between serum vitamin A and E concentrations and premature rupture of membranes were analyzed. Results:among 195 pregnant women,52 cases had premature rupture of membranes, accounting for 26.7%.Vitamin A deficiency and vitamin E excess in premature rupture of membranes group were higher than those in non premature rupture of membranes group(control group),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Pregnant women in different age groups were deficient in vitamin A to varying degrees, and the overall deficiency rate was 46.7%;The excess rate of vitamin E reached 44.44%,and there was no lack of vitamin E.Conclusion:there are common phenomena of vitamin A deficiency and vitamin E excess during pregnancy. The abnormal concentration of serum vitamin A and E during pregnancy is related to the occurrence of premature rupture of membranes. The detection of serum vitamin A and E concentration during pregnancy is helpful to improve the abnormalities of vitamin A and E in pregnant women and prevent premature rupture of membranes.
