The Evolution of De (德),Mo (陌),and Mai (麦) Rhyme Groups in Mandarin

开一德与开二陌麦的分合演化是近代汉语语音史上发生的一项相当独特的音变现象,开一德与开二陌麦的分合是区分通语音系与北音的一项重要标志,《广韵》音系是汉语南北方音直接的历史源头。本文以《广韵》韵母系统为起点,考查《广韵》系列韵书、韵图及南北方音的相关文献资料,在此基础上揭示开一德与开二陌麦演化的路径与特色;并就相关的问题谈点认识。

The evolution of De(德),Mo(陌),and Mai(麦)Rhyme Groups in Mandarin is a unique phenomenon of sound change during the history of modern Chinese phonetics.The merging and demerging of them is an important sign on distinguishing Mandarin phonology from phonology of Northern dialects.The phonology of Guangyun(广韵)was the direct historical source of north-south Chinese dialects phonology.Based on the study of the rhyme system of Guangyun and the series of rhyme books,rhyme charts,and the documentation of north-south dialects,this paper reveals the path and characteristics of the evolution of De(德)and Mo(陌)Mai(麦)and talks about some understanding on related issues.
