Founded on the basis of historical materialism,Xi Jinping’s thought of“the rule of law”is the result of theoretical innovation that keeps developing in response to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The thought follows the law of the historical movement of human society,the ruling law of the Communist Party of China and the law of socialist construction that develops in a time of profound change unseen in a century,adapts to the change of the movement of the main contradiction in China and promotes the construction of the rule of law;It inherits and develops Marxist theory of rule of law and reflects the basic national conditions in the primary stage of socialism;It insists Marxist view of mass history,reflects the value pursuit of ruling for the people of the Communist Party of China,thus embodies the organic unity of the leadership of the Party,the people being masters of the country and the rule of law.
