Square dance is a sport activity with ornamental,recreational,fitness and popularity.It is loved by the public.The harmonious and orderly development of square dance culture plays an important role in the implementation of China’s national fitness policy and the improvement of urban cultural construction level.This paper briefly summarizes the relationship between the development of square dance and the construction of charming city,and probes into the dilemma and way out of the development of square dance,in order to make square dance culture a beautiful scenery in the construction of charming city.
