开放街区的城市性未来 从美丰洋行到“美丰大楼”

Urban Future of Open Block From Andrews & George Co. to "Andrews & George Building"

上海洛克·外滩源6号美丰大楼是英国建筑师戴卫·奇普菲尔德基于保护更新设计完成的一幢高层商业公办建筑。项目属上海市黄浦区174街坊新建建筑之一,在保留了原美丰洋行位于圆明园路、北京东路的东、南两片外墙的基础上,内部新建起一幢高度为59.8 m,地上14层、地下1层的混凝土框架核心筒结构高层建筑。建筑师依靠敏锐的意识在延续传统历史建筑与风貌保护的基础上,通过容积率转移、空间转换、新旧结合、开放街区的方式,将新建筑的多元化意识置于更广泛的上海城市历史与文化语境之中,进而探索和激发街区创新活力的城市性未来。

The Andrews & George Building,no.6 at the Rockbund,Shanghai,is a high-rise office building completed by British architect David Chipperfield through conservation and regeneration design.Part of the no.174 block in Shanghai’s Huangpu District,the project is one of the new builds in the area.On the basis of retaining the two outer walls of the original Andrews & George Co.along the east and south of Yuanmingyuan Road and East Beijing Road,the new building of Andrews & George becomes a high-rise with a concrete frame and core-tube structure at a height of 59.8 meters,fourteen floors above ground and one floor underground.In view of the awareness to continue the conservation of historic buildings,and through the tran sfer of plot ratios,spatial relationships,traditional materials,and open block,architect David Chipperfield puts the sense of diversity into the broader urban context of Shanghai.The project tries to explore an urban future that stimulates innovative vitality of the neighborhood beyond the open block.
