Copyright balance is an important principle and key content of the third revision of the Copyright Law of the People’s Republic of China, and it is of great significance to promote copyright balance. Copyright balance has been the core value and basic principle of American copyright law. The American library community promotes the formulation and implementation of copyright balance laws and policies by building alliance organizations, tracking laws and policies, developing guidelines and tools, designing theme activities and other initiatives, which has profound enlightenment for Chinese library community to carry out copyright balance practice and research.
