Objective To explore the teaching effect of different teaching modes in the teaching of CPR for clinical undergraduates. Methods From May to July 2021,200 students majoring in clinical medicine who entered the First Clinical Medical College of Xinjiang Medical University in 2018 were selected. They were divided into a control group and a study group by random grouping, with 100 students in each group. The control group was dominated by traditional theory-based teaching by teachers, while the study group was dominated by problem-based learning(PBL).Both groups used advanced CPR comprehensive simulator for real-time teaching, and CPR skills were assessed after class. And compared the difference in teaching satisfaction between the two groups. Results The average score of CPR skills assessment, teaching satisfaction of clinical medical students in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion PBL-based teaching mode can effectively stimulate students'enthusiasm for learning, consolidate theoretical knowledge of large courses, increase the teaching effect of clinical teaching, improve autonomous learning ability, and promote teaching mutual learning. Finally,a solid foundation is laid for entering clinical practice.
