摘要
本文简要回顾了中西方外语语法教学历史,确立语法教学在我国中学英语课程中的重要性。在此基础上,重点讨论我国中学英语语法教学的内容、原则和方法。首先,教材内语法教学的关键是把握教学语法的特点,落实课程标准、教科书和教师教学用书的教学要求;教材外语法教学内容的选择,须经过质、量、和匹配度三方面的核查。其次,提出语法教学三大原则:为运用能力和综合素养而教,形式-意义-语用相结合,因地制宜、因材施教。然后,分五个方面讨论语法教学的途径和方法:语法教学的常规设计,语法项目的内部类别,英汉对比和学习者偏误,词汇语法连续统,语法学习策略指导。最后,强调无论用什么样的方法,语法教学的效果最终取决于教师的专业素养。
After a brief review on the history of foreign language grammar teaching in China and western countries,the paper discusses the contents,principles and methods of English grammar teaching in primary and secondary schools in China.First,it points out that the key to success grammar teaching is for teachers to grasp the characteristics of pedagogical grammar,to meet the requirements of curriculum standards,textbooks and teacher's book;while the supplementary contents outside the textbook needs to be checked by quality,quantity and matching degree.Then 3 principles of grammar teaching are put forward:(1)teaching grammar for competence;(2)integrating form,meaning and use;(3)teaching according to local conditions and learner's aptitude.Last,it discusses grammar teaching methods from 5 aspects:(1)classroom instruction design;(2)teaching grammar according to different categories;(3)making use of comparison between English and Chinese and learners'errors;(4)integrating vocabulary into grammar teaching;(5)instructing learners'grammar learning strategies.
