Objective To study the clinical effect and value of the conversion method in the pediatric drug allocation in the intravenous drug dispensing center. Methods A total of 940 medical order forms prepared by 30 pharmacists/nurses from January to June 2019 were selected. The control group used the reduction method for non-whole drug conversion, and the observation group used the multiple method for non-whole drug conversion, with 470 copies of each group.Summarize the medical order sheets collected by statistical research and sort them;at the same time, compare the application efficiency of different conversion methods(the time required for drug deployment)and the actual drug deployment time. Results Taking common antibiotics as an example, the time required for the preparation of drugs in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the actual drug deployment time of each pharmacist in the observation group was(1.67±0.48)min,which was shorter in the control group(2.84±0.38)min,and the difference was statistically significant(t=10.468,P<0.05).Conclusion In the pediatric drug allocation center, the application of multiple conversion method can effectively promote the improvement of drug conversion accuracy, and significantly improve the work efficiency of the staff.
