Er^(3+)掺杂碲酸盐激光玻璃光学光谱特性的定量计算与预测 被引量:1

Quantitative calculation and prediction of the optical and spectroscopic properties of Er^(3+)-doped tellurite glass

摘要 玻璃科学中的挑战之一是如何从理论上预测计算玻璃的性能从而避免大量的实验试错,特别是对于需要设计具有一定力学、光学、光谱学等特性的激光玻璃.因此,本文以Er^(3+)掺杂碲酸盐激光玻璃(BaO-Ga_(2)O_(3)-TeO_(2),BGT)为例,提出利用玻璃结构相图模型定量计算预测新玻璃的物理性质和光学光谱特性,并选取少量代表性玻璃组分对预测结果进行实验验证并分析了误差来源.物理性质和多项光学光谱性质的计算结果与实验结果吻合,误差分别小于2%和10%.以此为基础,建立了Er^(3+)掺杂BGT玻璃基础性质数据库,给出了成玻区内大量玻璃组分的性质数据.结果表明,玻璃结构相图模型可以定量计算预测Er^(3+)掺杂BGT玻璃的物理性质和诸多光学光谱特性.本工作为完善玻璃基础数据库、降低研发成本以及新型激光玻璃材料研究提供了新思路. One of the challenges in glass science is the prediction and calculation of glass performance theoretically to avoid experimental trials and errors, particularly for laser glasses that need to be designed with certain mechanical, optical, and spectroscopic characteristics. In this work, the physical and luminescent properties of new Er^(3+)-doped BaO-Ga_(2)O_(3)-TeO_(2)(BGT) glasses were quantitatively predicted and determined via the phase diagram approach. A few representative glass components were selected to experimentally verify the prediction results and analyze the source of errors. The determined physical and luminescent properties are in good agreement with the experimental results, with errors less than2% and 10%, respectively. Using these results, a database of glass properties was established, and the property data of glass components in the glass-forming region were provided. The results show that the phase diagram approach allows the quantitative prediction and determination of the physical and luminescent properties of Er^(3+)-doped BGT glass. Thus,it is a new approach for enhancing the basic database of glass and reducing the research cost for developing new laser glass materials.
