论公民道德建设的二重性

On Duality of Construction of Civil Virtues

依据辩证唯物主义基本原理可知,公民道德建设具有二重性,既有普遍的全人类性,又有特殊的地方性,而且前者重于后者。公民道德建设是社会现代化事业的重要组成部分,西方国家成熟的公民道德建设形成了自由主义和共和主义两个不同模式。中国式公民道德建设一方面有助于社会主义经济建设、完善社会主义市场经济体系,另一方面也将推动落实公民的国家主人地位,动员公民参与公共事务。“团结”这一从当代中国政治逻辑推导出来的核心理念将成为中国公民道德建设的基本精神,我们将中国式公民道德建设称为发展主义模式。

From the view of dialectical materialism,we can draw the conclusion that there is duality in construc-tion of civil virtues,that is,there is not only universality but also locality as its inner nature in constructionof civil virtues,and even more,universality is heavy over locality.In fact,construction of civil virtues is animportant part of social modernization project for a modern country,there have been two different models—liberalist one and republicalist one—in modern western countries.Chinese construction of civil virtueswill be benefit for socialist economic construction and its market institutions,and political reform whichwill put civil rights such as subjecthood of national power,public participation and so on into effect.Wethink that solidarity is the basic spirit of Chinese construction of civil virtues,so we can name the model ofChinese construction of civil virtues as developing model.
