Fragility of Japanese Puppet Regime in Occupied Areas from Two Pairs of Contradictions

抗日战争期间,日方在沦陷区建立起一整套为其武力征服和谋求侵略利益服务的日伪政权,与之相伴而生、贯穿日伪政权建设始终的是两对不可调和的矛盾:一是占领者对占领区经济能力和基础设施等的摧毁与重建之间的矛盾;二是"合作者"与占领当局之间利益关系的矛盾。这两对矛盾持续影响着沦陷区日伪政权建构、利益分配以及对沦陷区的控制效果,从根本上决定了日伪政权的脆弱性。

During the Anti-Japanese War, Japan set up a whole set of Japanese puppet regime in occupied areas for its military conquest and seeking the interests of aggression. There were two pairs of irreconcilable contradictions that ran through the construction of Japanese puppet regime. One was the contradiction between destruction and reconstruction of economic ability and infrastructure of the occupied area by the occupier. The other was the contradiction of interests between the "cooperators" and the occupation authorities. These two contradictions continually influenced the construction of the Japanese puppet regime in the occupied areas, the distribution of interests and the control effect of the occupied areas, and fundamentally determined the fragility of the Japanese puppet regime.
