近代华侨华人作为特殊的纽带和介质,在发展体育教育、赞助体育竞赛、传播传统体育文化、引进现代体育技术和项目等领域,为祖国体育事业提供了不可或缺的重要支助,奠定了祖国体育事业兴起与发展的基础。论文总结了近代华侨华人对祖国体育事业的主要支助方式,并从社会心理、文化、环境等多个层面分析了华侨华人支助行为的深层次动因。在体育强国建设的时代背景中,新一代华侨华人将面临新的发展机遇与时代使命。对此,应加强华侨华人体育研究、深入挖掘中华体育文化、拓展海内外体育领域合作,以吸引华侨华人持续性发挥"融通中外"的独特优势,推动中国在世界体育舞台上展示更强的实力。

As a special link and medium, modern overseas Chinese provided indispensable major support for the motherland’s sports cause and laid a solid foundation for the rise and development of sports of the motherland. Their contributions have been seen in the development of physical education, sponsorship of sports competitions, dissemination of traditional sports culture, introduction of modern sports technology and projects, etc. The thesis summarizes the main support methods of overseas Chinese in modern times to the sports cause of the motherland, and analyzes the deep-seated motivations of overseas Chinese and Chinese support behaviors from the personal, cultural, social and other levels. In the era of building a sports power, the new generation of overseas Chinese will face new development opportunities and missions of the times. In this regard, it is necessary to strengthen overseas Chinese sports research, further the exploration of Chinese sports culture, and expand the cooperation in sports at home and abroad, so as to attract overseas Chinese and Chinese to continue to play their unique advantages of “integrating Chinese and overseas Chinese” and promote China to show stronger strength on the world sports stage.
