The national intellectual property strategy refers to increasing the importance of intellectual property rights, improving the ability of intellectual property creation, management, implementation, and protection, optimizing the modern intellectual property system, training a group of high-quality intellectual property talents, and promoting social development. As the main place for teaching and scientific research in universities, university libraries are the document information centers of universities. Patent information service means that universities rely on their own advantages in data resources to improve patent information services for college researchers,teachers and students, etc. With the continuous implementation of the intellectual property strategy, new requirements have been put forward for its related work. In this paper, the writer has launched a detailed discussion on the patent information service of university libraries for the reference of relevant personnel.
