谭平山是中国共产党早期广东地方组织的创建者之一,是一名杰出的民主革命家、实干家。在积极建党、开展工人运动之余,谭平山还极其关注教育问题,将教育活动融入多方面的革命实践。其教育思想不仅内容丰富而且富有启发性,涉及劳动教育、农村教育、政治教育、教育独立等多个方面,具有时代性、革命性和实践性的鲜明特征。通过宣传马克思主义,一定程度上推动了无产阶级队伍的壮大,丰富了共产党早期的教育思想理论宝库,不仅为20世纪初中国教育的重建提供指导,还为今日的教育实践提供了有益借鉴。

Tan Pingshan was one of the founders of the early local organizations of the Communist Party of China in Guangdong Province,an outstanding democratic revolutionist and practicist.In addition to actively building the Party and carrying out the labor movement,Tan Pingshan also paid great attention to education issues and integrated educational activities into various revolutionary practices,whose educational thought is not only rich in content but also enlightening,including labor education,rural education,political education,educational independence and other aspects,and has some distinctive characteristics of the times,revolution and practice.Through the popularity of Marxism,it has promoted the growth of the proletariat to a certain extent,enriched the early educational ideology and theory of the Communist Party,and provided guidance for the reconstruction of Chinese education in the early 20th century and a useful reference for today's educational practice.
