Machine-picking Green Tea Cultivar——’Zhongcha 501’

中茶501是从木禾群体种中采用单株选择,经系统选育而成的适宜机采的茶树新品种。经系统品系比较试验、机采适宜性试验表明,中茶501属特早生种,产量高。制成烘青绿茶,外形深绿带毫,汤色绿尚亮,香气有花香,滋味清爽带花味,叶底绿亮。内含物质丰富,春季一芽二叶含水浸出物49.21%、茶多酚17.50%、氨基酸4.83%、咖啡碱3.42%。抗寒性较强,高抗茶炭疽病、抗茶小绿叶蝉。新梢、最下节节间长,机采新梢完整率高。中茶501于2021年9月通过非主要农作物品种登记,登记编号:GPD茶树(2021)330040。

’Zhongcha 501’is a new tea cultivar suitable for machine-picking,which was bred by single-plant selection from the Muhe population.System strain comparison tests and machine-harvested suitability tests show that’Zhongcha501’is an early-sprouting cultivar with a medium yield.It is made into roasted green tea with a dark green appearance,bright green soup,floral aroma,refreshing taste and bright green leaf bottom.It is rich in substances.The water extract content of one bud and two leaves in spring reached 49.21%,the content of tea polyphenols was 17.50%,the content of amino acids was 4.83%,and the content of caffeine was 3.42%.It showed strong cold and drought resistance,tea anthracnose resistance showed high resistance(HR)to tea anthracnose,resistance(R)to tea green leafhopper resistance showed resistance(R).The new shoots and internode are long,and the machine-picked new shoots have a high integrity rate.’Zhongcha 501’got the registration number of non-major crop varieties:GPD Tea Tree(2021)330040.
