补牢东平湖工程短板 用好东平湖水资源

Strengthen the Utilization of Dongping Lake Water Resources

东平湖是山东省第二大淡水湖,是黄河下游唯一重要蓄滞洪区,是国家南水北调东线工程调蓄湖泊和枢纽。通过加固改建东平湖防洪工程,补牢工程短板,使东平湖“盛水的盆”更加坚固;清淤扩容,增加东平湖蓄水量,充分利用雨洪水资源,东平湖“盆里的水”既多又好,实现东平湖“防洪保安全、优质水资源、健康水生态、宜居水环境”的“幸福河湖”目标。

Dongping Lake,the second largest fresh water lake in Shandong Province,is the only flood storage and detention area in the lower Yellow River,and the regulated lake and hub of the eastern route of the National South-to-North Water Diversion Project.Through the upgrading and reconstruction works,the Lake was improved by tackling the weakness,so that the Lake can give full play of the role of "basin of water" stably.Many actions were taken such as dredging and expanding capacity,increasing water storage capacity,making full use of rain and flood resources and so on.Dongping Lake can store more and better water now as the " basin of water ".Therefore,the goal of "happy river and lake" of "flood control and safety,high-quality water resources,healthy water ecology and livable water environment" can be achieved.
