调查研究是中国共产党的光荣传统和优良作风,随着民族工作的逐步开展,中国共产党越来越重视对少数民族的调查研究。新中国初期党和政府在民族工作方面的一个重大举措,就是有组织地开展少数民族社会调查,为贯彻落实党的民族政策提供了科学的依据,也为新中国民族研究学科的建设与发展奠定了良好的基础。

Investigation and research is the glorious tradition and fine style of the Communist Party of China.With the gradual development of Ethnic Groups work,the Communist Party of China attaches more and more attention to the investigation and research of ethnic minorities.In the early days of P.R China,the Party was to carry out organized social investigations on ethnic minorities,which provided a scientific basis for the implementation of the Party’s policies towards ethnic minorities and laid a good foundation for the construction and development of research disciplines on ethnic minorities in China.
