Study on the Impact of Spatial Imbalance of Industrial StructureChange on Regional Economic Disparity in China

研究目标:探究中国产业结构变迁的空间不平衡特征及其对地区经济差距的影响。研究方法:从产业结构合理化和产业高度化两个层面,测度2000~2019年中国产业结构变迁,采用Theil指数测度其空间差异,借助二次指派程序(QAP)探究产业结构变迁的空间不平衡对地区经济差距的影响。研究发现:中国产业结构的变迁呈现明显的空间非均衡特征。其中,产业结构合理化表现出“阶梯式”的分布格局,而产业结构高度化呈现“核心—边缘”特征。全样本分析结果表明,产业结构合理化和高度化对地区经济差距均产生显著的影响。分时期考察结果则显示,产业结构合理化对地区经济差距的影响强度逐步提升并超过了产业结构高度化。分地区结果表明,产业结构合理化和高度化对地区经济差距的影响强度不同,东部地区应注重产业结构高度化的协调发展,中部地区则应该两者并重,西部地区应在产业结构合理化上发力。研究创新:从关系数据视角,应用二次指派程序揭示产业结构变迁的空间不平衡对地区经济差距的影响。研究价值:从产业结构变迁视角为理解地区经济差距提供了一个崭新的分析框架,为中国区域经济协调发展和扎实推动共同富裕提供了新的对策。

Research Objectives:To explore the spatial imbalance characteristics of industrial structure change and its impact on regional economic disparity in China.Research Methods:From the two levels of industrial structure rationalization and industrial advancement,we measure the industrial structure change from 2000 to 2019.And we use Theil index to measure their spatial differences,and the QAP is used to explore the impact of the spatial imbalance of industrial structure changes on regional economic disparity.Research Findings:The change of industrial structure presents obvious spatial imbalance characteristics.Among them,the rationalization of industrial structure shows a“ladder”pattern,while the high degree of industrial structure shows a“core edge”feature.The full sample QAP regression analysis shows that the rationalization and high degree of industrial structure have a significant impact on regional economic disparity.The results of the study in different periods show that the rationalization of industrial structure has gradually increased the impact on regional economic disparity and the impact exceeded the high degree of industrial structure.Regression analysis in different regions shows that rationalization and high degree of industrial structure have different impacts on regional economic disparity.The eastern region should pay attention to the coordinated development of the high degree of industrial structure,the central region should pay equal attention to both,and the western region should exert its strength on the rationalization of industrial structure.Research Innovations:From the perspective of relational data,this paper applies the quadratic assignment procedure to reveal the impact of spatial imbalance of industrial structure change on regional economic disparity.Research Value:From the perspective of industrial structure change,this paper provides a brand new analytical framework for understanding regional economic disparity,and provides new countermeasures for the coordinated development of regional economy and solid promotion of common prosperity in China.
