Comparative Analysis of Service Trade Competitiveness Among BRICS Countries

在全球经济疲软的背景下,发展服务贸易将成为金砖五国产业转型升级、助推经济增长的重要途径。以金砖五国的服务贸易为研究对象,通过分析世贸组织数据库中2014—2020年各国的服务贸易规模以及对服务贸易国际市场占有率、服务贸易优势指数、服务贸易显示性比较优势指数进行测算和对比的基础上,找出金砖五国服务贸易的比较优势和未来发展方向,从而为金砖五国在服务贸易领域的合作提出对策和建议。

In the context of the weak global economy,the development of trade in services will become an important way for the BRICS countries to transform and upgrade their industries and boost their economic growth.Taking the service trade of BRICS countries as the research object,the comparative advantages and future development direction of service trade of BRICS countries was found out by analyzing the scale of service trade of each country in the WTO database from 2014 to 2020 as well as measuring and comparing the international market share of service trade,service trade advantage index and service trade indicative comparative advantage index.The index is used to measure and compare the comparative advantages of BRICS trade in services and the future development direction,so as to propose countermeasures and suggestions for the cooperation of BRICS in the field of trade in services.
