On the Fusion of Traditional Anhui Symbols and Modern Furniture Design--Take the art of Hui Three Carvings as an Example

徽派建筑是徽州文化的一个缩影,它浓缩了包括木雕、砖雕、石雕的雕刻技艺,徽州人朴素内敛的文化气质。传统徽派建筑元素与现代家具设计的结合是中国家具设计的一个趋势,传统与现代的融合方式有很多,这需要作为设计师的我们以此进行探究、挖掘和提炼,设计出既能够完美反映徽派文化又能够符合现代需求的新徽派家具。

Hui-style architecture is an epitome of Huizhou culture,which concludes the carving skills of wood carving,brick carving and stone carving,and the simple and introverted cultural temperament of Huizhou people.The combination of traditional Hui-style architectural elements and modern furniture design is a trend of Chinese furniture design.There are many ways of integrat‐ing traditional with modern furniture,which require us to explore,dig and refine as designers,and design new Hui-style furniture that can perfectly reflect Hui-style culture and meet modern needs.
