Research on Jidong Folk Songs

冀东民歌是冀东地区深厚历史文化和当地人文风貌的重要展示,同时也是河北省民间音乐绚丽的瑰宝。它不仅音乐色彩鲜明、演唱技法丰富、旋律流畅简洁、曲调质朴优美,而且内容题材也丰富多样,既有反映生产劳动、社会斗争、爱情婚姻、日常生活、风俗习惯的民歌,也有传授知识技能和讲述故事传说为题材的音乐作品。如果按照演唱场合及功用的不同,又大致可以分为号子、山歌、小调、叫卖调和秧歌调五大类。因此,冀东有着“歌舞之乡”的美誉。

Jidong folk songs are an important display of the profound history,culture and local humanistic features of Jidong re‐gion,and also a brilliant treasure of folk music in Hebei Province.It not only has distinct music colours,fantastic singing techniques,smooth and concise melody,and simple and beautiful tunes,but also has rich and diverse content themes,including folk songs that reflect production and labour,social struggle,love and marriage,daily life and customs,as well as music works themed about teach‐ing knowledge and skills and telling stories and legends.According to the different singing occasions and functions,it can be rough‐ly divided into five categories:Haozi,mountain songs,xiaodiao,peddling tones and Yangko tones.Therefore,Jidong has the reputa‐tion of"the hometown of song and dancing".
