Under the background of globalization, cultural globalization has become inevitable, all nationalities and countries hope to promote their cultures everywhere. Chinese traditional auspicious fish pattern is not just limited to decorative symbols, but reflects Chinese national culture. This thesis, on the basis of analyzing the artistic characteristics and implied meaning of compositions of traditional auspicious fish pattern, applies traditional auspicious fish pattern to modern ceramic liquor vessel in an innovative way. It looks for the confluence of traditional culture and innovative design, and at the same time shows the broad and profound artistic attainments of the Chinese nation and endless artistic feelings.
