规模化猪场改善母猪动物福利的探讨

Discussion on improving the welfare status of sows in large-scale pig farms

养殖场动物福利主要包含为动物提供比较舒适自由的生活环境和条件,在活动空间、饲料、环境、饮水、免疫、用药、运输、屠宰等方面善待动物,使其免受不必要的痛苦,最终为人类输出优质的动物产品。目前在我国大多数规模化猪场中母猪动物福利状况没有得到足够重视,已经不适应畜牧业可持续发展的要求。为此,笔者提出发展生态养殖、非限位饲养、提供多元化的环境刺激、引进自动化智能管理系统、采用动物福利产品标识等建议,希望为规模化猪场母猪动物福利的改善提供一些参考。

Farm animal welfare mainly includes that animals are well treated to be healthy,comfortable,free,safe,and are not suffering from unpleasant states such as pain,fear and distress in terms of activity space,feed,living environment,drinking water,immunization,medication,transportation,slaughtering process for producing high quality animal products. At present,the welfare of sows in most large-scale pig farms in China is not valued enough,which brings about some negative effects on the development of quality and benefit-oriented animal husbandry. In this paper,it was suggested that expanding ecological breeding,non-restricted raising,and providing diversified stimulating conditions,introducing automated self-energy management systems and labelling products with animal welfare identifications would be helpful for the improvement of sow welfare in large-scale pig farms.
