“索性”的语义特征演变

The Evolution of Semantic Features of Chinese Word “Suoxing”

通过对“索性”从宋代至清代的语料进行语义整理,笔者分析了“索性”的语义情态变化以及“索性”篇章功能。从历时角度看,“索性”的语义特征不能概括为“因情况所迫而势迫顺为”,“索性”后的谓词也并非都具有[+自主]的语义特征。“索性”在近代汉语中也可表示“自然而然的顺势而为”,后跟非自主的行为。“索性”有后接[+自主]语义特征谓词和[-自主]语义特征谓词的两种用法,观察“索性”的主观性特征。

In this paper, the diachronic semantic evolution of “suoxing” was sorted out through corpus,and the semantic modality changes and textual functions of “suoxing” were analyzed. From the diachronic point of view, the semantic feature of “suoxing” could not be summarized as being forced to break into action by circumstances, and not all predicates after “suoxing” had the semantic feature of [+ autonomy].“Suoxing” in modern Chinese can also mean spontaneous and it could be followed by non-autonomous behavior. This paper investigated the two usages of the semantic feature predicate of “suoxing” followed by [+ autonomy] and [-autonomy], and observed the subjective feature of “suoxing”.
