From Perception to Science:A Quantitative Study of Island Settlement Spatial Morphology in Pingtan Island

作为特定环境中的人居系统,海岛聚落生长的驱动因素亟待科学研究。本文基于聚落空间研究的历史与当下,以平潭海岛聚落为研究对象,从海岛聚落的空间特征出发,结合建筑学、地理学等领域的量化研究手段与方法,探讨海岛聚落的选址倾向和空间组织并分析聚落演化的动因与模式。论文提出了独特环境下引入学科交叉手段的针对性和多元量化研究方法的必要性。

As a human settlement system in a specific environment,the driving factors of island settlement growth are in urgent need of scientific research.Based on the history and current research of settlement space,this paper takes Pingtan Island as the research object,starts from the spatial characteristics of island settlements,and combines the quantitative research methods and methods in the fields of architecture and geography to discuss the siting tendency and spatial organization of island settlements,and analyses the causes and modes of settlement evolution.The paper puts forward the pertinence of introducing interdisciplinary means and the necessity of multivariate quantitative research method under the unique environment.
