转基因食品与安全课程双语教学改革的初步探讨

Preliminary Discussion on Bilingual Teaching Reform of Genetically Modified Food and Safety

转基因食品与安全课程是食品质量与安全专业的一门重要复合培养选修课程。本课程实施双语教学,使学生了解转基因领域相关技术研究、相应法律法规和规章制度。文章指出了转基因食品与安全课程双语教学的重要性,提出分班分流、采用seminar教学方式和加强学生预习复习的教学实施建议,以达到同步提升学生英语能力和专业知识的目的。

Genetically modified food and safety is an important compound training elective course for the specialty of food quality and safety. Bilingual teaching is implemented in this course to enable students to understand relevant technical research, corresponding laws, regulations and rules in the field of transgenic. This paper points out the importance of bilingual teaching of genetically modified food and safety, and puts forward some teaching implementation suggestions of dividing classes, adopting seminar teaching method and strengthening students’ preview and review, so as to improve students’ english ability and professional knowledge at the same time.
