公示语翻译方法及其规范化策略

Study on Translation Strategies of Public Signs

公示语是一座城市的别样名片,能够在不同方面影响人们的生活。正确的公示语翻译能够对国外来访人员起到无声向导的作用,展示出一座城市的魅力,也能体现一座城市的国际化形象和国际化水平。正确翻译公示语并广泛应用于生产生活,有助于提升我国的国际影响力,同时还可以展现中华民族的文化包容性和城市魅力。但目前调研结果显示,公示语在翻译规范方面存在多种问题,需要及时予以纠正并使之规范化。本文从翻译学理论角度研究公示语的翻译问题,针对公示语翻译中出现的主要错误形式,提出公示语翻译的规范化策略。

Public signs are a unique name card of a city that can affect people’s lives in different ways.Correctly-translated public signs can play the role of silent guide for foreign visitors, show the charm of a city and reflect the internationalization level of a city. The correct translation of public signs and their wide application in production and life will help enhance China’s international influence and show the cultural tolerance of the Chinese nation. However,the current research results show that there are many problems in translation standards of public signs, which need to be corrected and standardized in time. This paper studies the translation of public signs from the perspective of translation theory and puts forward standardization strategies for the translation of public signs in view of wrong forms in the translation of public signs.
