A determination method for organic matters in functional membrane attached on automotive glass by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is introduced.The parameters setting of all parts of the gas chromatography-mass spectrometer,the confirmation of mass spectrometer performance and the requirements on various auxiliary equipment and consumables,such as thermal desorption instrument,oven,inflatable pump,vacuum pump,air bag and adsorption tube,are described.The points needing attention during experiment are introduced.The kinds of toxic and harmful organic compounds in automotive functional films are found out,which lays a foundation for quantitative analysis.
