Ideological and political education is an important part of senior high school teaching.It is far from enough to rely on theoretical lectures for ideological and political education of students.The patriotic works in senior high school music textbooks include profound ideological and moral feelings in the spiritual world,and also have rich value of ideological and political education.This paper expounds the characteristics of patriotic music works,the value of patriotic music works in senior high school music textbooks to the ideological and political education of contemporary senior high school students and the way to realize it,in order to strengthen the ideological and political awareness of students under the influence of patriotic music works,and urge them to take action to practice patriotism.
