历史视域下城市精神的演化研究——以武汉精神为例

Research on the Evolution of Urban Spirit from the Perspective of History——Take Wuhan as an Example

城市精神是一个城市的灵魂,是一个城市软实力的重要内容,是推动城市发展的内在力量。城市精神的形成并非一蹴而就,而是经过了漫长的孕育演化阶段。城市精神的提炼经过了深入研究,表述也相对固定,但在不同阶段其内涵仍有不同。武汉是中国特大城市,也是长江中游的龙头城市,其城市精神为“敢为人先,追求卓越”。本文以武汉精神为例,立足城市历史和社会发展两大维度,从历史涵育、革命滋养、深层重构、蓄积定型等方面探究城市精神的演化。

Urban spirit is the soul of a city, an important part of a city’s soft power and an internal force to promote urban development. Wuhan is not only a mega city in China, but also a leading city in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Its urban spirit is “Dare to be first and pursue excellence”. Taking Wuhan as an example, this paper explores the evolution of urban spirit from the aspects of historical education, revolutionary nourishment, deep reconstruction and accumulation of Wuhan spirit.
