墨子是鲁阳人,担任过宋国的大夫,被子冉设计成为囚徒。作为墨子的朋友,公输班曾经两次让楚国攻打宋国,都被墨子制止。但墨不是他的姓氏,也与刑罚无关。
Mozi was a native of Luyang and served as an officer of the State of Song and was set up as a prisoner by Ziran.As a friend of Mozi,GongshouBan had twice ordered the state of Chu to attack the state of Song,but was stopped by Mozi.Mozi was not his surname and had nothing to do with punishment.
